The Center for Teaching Excellence offers two certificates, each with the goal of producing instructors who desire to bring excellence into their classroom. Completion of these certificates will make participants experts in transferring knowledge to their learners. For those wanting to expand knowlege on a single topic, all of our course modules are offered individually as well!

Our offerings provide a perfect and affordable opportunity for institutions who wish to provide professional development opportunities to their instructors. We provide .5 CEUs (five contact hours) for every module. Modules may be applied to courses within the corresponding certificates. Courses within our certificates are pending AZ CTE certification for CEUs. Each module runs five days. Because they are offered online, participants can interact around busy work and personal schedules.

Certificate for Teaching Excellence
Do you know whether or not you're truly reaching your students? Are your assessments really measuring learning or are they measuring memorization? Are your students engaged in the learning process? The Certificate for Teaching Excellence is composed of ten courses designed to help you become an Instructor of Excellence! These courses provide you wtih the skills to achieve mastery in delivery and to manage your classes more efficiently and effectively. Certificate for Online Teaching Excellence
This certificate is for the instructor who is or will be be teaching in distance formats. The Certificate for Online Teaching Excellence provide you with mastery in online delivery. These courses take you far beyond the simple mechanics of the online interface. Among other things, the participant will learn different ways to communicate with learners using inteactive tools, what can be dones to make classes engaging and dynamic, how to manage time effectively, and how to transition classes from traditional formats to the online environment.
