Biography
Sheri Schmeckpeper, MAEd, MCP, managed instructional technology for nine years before discovering a passion for education. Merging her business, technical, and educational skills brought her into the business of distance education. Sheri has expertise in project management, systems development, instructional design and communications. Throughout the last decade, in addition to directing distance learning at both private and public institutions, she has taught undergraduate and graduate university courses and taught instructors the skills needed to be highly successful online teachers.
In the process of planning, developing and implementing distance learning programs and their supporting structures, Sheri has successfully overcome challenges in budget constraints, inter-departmental communication, technical barriers and stakeholder apprehension.
Sheri has also spent the last 12 years coaching in the areas of marriage and re-marriage, finance, interpersonal relationships, and other life skills. The Institutes' Center for Excellent Living brings together her knowledge in life issues and her skills in educational delivery, all in the convenience and privacy of the online environment.
Sheri teaches classes in technology, communications, education, finance, project management, critical thinking and inter-personal relationships.
